>компютри??????ill can not believe the number of people who have yet to see how fake and hollow Barack Obama is.  Let’s now take a look at his recent squabble with Hillary.   Like McCain, Hillary has proposed a summer break on gasoline taxes.  Who knows how much of help the tax break would really be, but that isn’t the point.

Obama has came out and blasted the tax break as “phony ideas, calculated to win elections instead of actually solving problems.”  But as the typical Obama statement, he blasts his opponents but offers NO SOLUTION of his own.   As long as he doesn’t offer a solution, his solutions can’t be scrutinized.   Now that is calculating to win elections. 

By the way, Obama has voted to suspend gas tax three times before.

AT&T has decided now that you should have to pay a service charge to pay in cash which is ridiculous.  They say that it takes time for a teller to process a cash payment in person.  What is America coming to?  We need to contact you representive to let them know that is an outrage.  Currently AT&T is charging $2 a transaction but that fee will go up to $5 soon.  This just struck me wrong this afternoon, since when is paying in cash such a horrible thing.

I just find it funny that we have all this hoopla about the battle between Bill’s wife and the Senator with Mickey Mouse ears (and speech rah rah).  But it comes down the to the wife getting a whole 9 delegate victory when in the grand scheme of things is pretty darn miniscule.  That is just my early morning thoughts.

I wonder if the loser of the Democratic race will sue over something.  Isn’t that the liberal way is to whine and sue when you lose?

It’s been awhile since I posted anything and with the election coming up I am looking to post something everyday if just to say hello and for everyone to raise their head high and still believe in American even though there are many out there who want you to doubt American values and turn us into a socialist country.

Can’t wait to watch the circus that is the Pennsylvania primary tomorrow with the two characters named Obama and Clinton, the more I hear them talk, the better I feel about the two exposing themselves as frauds.

Even 2nd graders know to place your hand over your heart during the Pledge of Allegiance.    It is just a natural reaction, something you don’t even have to think about.  Now to think that a person running for the office of President of the United States of America, he would have a deep rooted feeling of patriotism for our country.    The more we see this guy, the more that it is shown that his heart is not into being President, it is more of a game to see if he can do it.  Only Democrats will see him as a cult hero.

With the recent developments in Kansas City of the La Raza group pulling their convention from  Kansas City because someone they didn’t like is on the Parks & Recreation Board in KC, I find it quite interesting that there is legislation that has been introduced by Ruben Hinojosa, a representative from Texas that would provide $10 million to the La Raza group.

We can not allow a group like La Raza who will blackmail cities to promote their racist views and policies to receive government dollars.  This is not what America is about, we must send a message.

I am for one outraged at the group La Raza.  For the past few months they have been threatening to move thier covention scheduled for Kansas City in 2009.  They are doint this because Frances Selmer was appointed to the Parks & Recreation board.  You ask why is this a big deal, Selmer is a member of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps which is against illegal immigration.

First, folks she stands for something that is illegal, since when is that wrong in America.  Second, it is the Parks and Recreation board, my gosh, it isn’t like someone who disagrees with them is on an ethics or equal opportunity board.  This goes to show what a racist group La Raza is.

The founder of La Raza was stated ”We have to eliminate the gringo and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to wors, we have to to kill him” 

Please contact your local representative and express your displeasure with the La Raza group and let them know that you will not stand for this type of group and you don not want any of your tax dollars going to support this group.

This goes to show that La Raza doesn’t understand what it means to be American, they are still living their values as if they were in Mexico. 

MYTH #1:  President Bush’s proposal would not help poor children.

• FACT:  The President strongly supports SCHIP reauthorization and his 2008 budget proposed to increase SCHIP funding by $5 billion over five years.  This is a 20 percent increase over current levels of funding. 

• FACT:  The President’s proposal maintains SCHIP’s original purpose of targeting dollars to poor children who need them most.

MYTH #2:  Cost is the only reason for President Bush’s veto threat.

• FACT:  There are numerous problems with Congress’s SCHIP bill.  In addition to raising spending by $35 to $50 billion, the legislation:

1. Turns a program meant to help poor children into one that covers children in some households with incomes of up to $83,000 a year. 

2. Would move millions of American children who now have private health insurance into government-run health care. 

3. Is an incremental step toward the Democrats’ goal of a government-run health care system.

4. Raises taxes on working Americans. 

5. Relies on a budget gimmick that drops SCHIP funding by almost 80 percent in year six, masking future deficits and ultimately resulting in a choice between higher taxes or forcing millions of children to lose health insurance.

6. Creates new funding schemes inviting states to overspend their budgets and shift health care costs to the Federal government by using SCHIP funding to offset state Medicaid spending.  

7. Provides incentives to states to relax protections against enrolling ineligible individuals, including illegal immigrants.

MYTH #3:  President Bush is wrong in claiming the Senate SCHIP bill would cover children in some households with incomes of up to $83,000 per year (400 percent of the Federal poverty level).

• FACT:  The Senate bill grandfathers in New York at a higher SCHIP match rate than the rest of the country – allowing SCHIP to cover children in some households with incomes of up to $83,000 per year.

• New York enacted a state law to submit a “State plan amendment.”  While that amendment was disapproved, the language of the Senate bill would still allow New York to claim the enhanced match if approved by a different Administration in the future.

• FACT:  The Senate SCHIP bill also grandfathers in New Jersey’s program at 350 percent of the Federal poverty level, which includes children in families with incomes of $72,000 a year. 

• Gov. Jon Corzine (D-NJ): “Corzine added that the state, which covers about 122,000 kids in its program, known as FamilyCare, ‘will continue to provide health care to children in families with income up to 350 percent’ of the federal poverty level – or $72,275 for a family of four. MYTH #4: Democrats are not seeking a political victory by passing a bill they know will be vetoed.

MYTH #5:  President Bush will be responsible if SCHIP is not reauthorized by September 30.

• FACT:  Congress is irresponsibly waiting until just before SCHIP expires on September 30 to pass a final bill they know will be vetoed.  Democrats have known for months that President Bush would veto a bill like the one
  
  they intend to send him.

• FACT:  One of the Democrats’ leaders has even said such a veto would be a “political victory.”  Members of Congress are putting health coverage for poor children at risk just so they can score political points in Washington. 

• FACT:  President Bush has called on Congress to pass a clean, temporary extension of the current SCHIP program that he can sign by September 30.  The President does not believe health coverage for poor children should be held hostage while political ads are being made and new polls are being taken. 

• FACT:  The President has instructed HHS Secretary Mike Leavitt to work with states to mitigate the resulting damage if Congress allows SCHIP to lapse

Here is the situation here in Kansas City.  Earlier this year, Frances Semler was appointed to the Kansas City Park Board.    Oversees the parks and recreation in Kansas City.  Well, National Council of La Raza, a national organization for Hispanics are scheduled to have their national conference in Kansas City for 2008.   Come to find out Ms Semler is a member of the Minutemen Civil Defense Corps, a group that is for securing the American borders.

 Obviously that means the Minutemen are against illegal immigration.  Because of Semler’s appointment to the Park Board (remember that is parks and recreation), La Raza has threatened to pull their national convention scheduled in Kansas City and the NAACP has threatened to pull theirs in support of La Raza.   It is of note that the chairman of the park board that Selmer serves on is Hispanic.

There have been many claims that the Minutemen are bunch of racists vigilantes with no repsect for the law.  From everything that I have been able to research, this group is not a group of racists and the obey the law.  With that said, I can not account for the every person in the group and with any group you have some on the extreme.  Just like you can’t say that all Muslims are bad because of extremist terrorist groups, or that all atheletes are dog killers because of the Vick case or that all Catholic priests prey on children or even that members of the NAACP are thugs because some members are in gangs.

La Raza and the NAACP can pull their conferences if they want, they have the freedom to do that.  But to try to bully a city by throwing a fit about a woman being appointed to the Park Board is childish.  Simple as that.  These people supposedly are for the exchanging of different ideas and having a range of input from different groups.  But I guess in the end the only input they accept are the thoughts that agree with them.
