Let’s look at the debate at that point. Biden had just made comments, three paragraphs of comments where in that Healthcare was only mentioned in one sentence, do you see that one sentence while the rest of Biden’s response was about taxes and Wall Street.

When it came time for Palin’s rebuttal, here is what Ifill said.

IFILL: Governor, please if you want to respond to what he said about Sen. McCain’s comments about health care?

While when it was time for Biden’s response, here is what was said.

IFILL: Senator?

So WHY was Palin directed in her rebuttal to something that wasn’t even the focus of Biden’s response but when it was time for Biden’s response, there was no limiting on how Biden should answer. Of course he answered the question because there was no question which should have been exactly the same for Palin.

So if everyone wants to keep on harping on why Palin didn’t answer about healthcare when first, the conversation was about taxes and wall street and second, it was her time to respond not answer a question from the moderator, fine. You are just being blind. edfa

Here is a very disturbing story. It interviews prosecutors and sheriffs in the state of Missouri that are going to prosecute those who run misleading or untrue ad against Obama. What makes it more scary is that they are part of Obama’s Truth Squad. It is scary enough that we leave political freedom ( I am full aware that both sides stretch the truth when campaigning), but the fact that as a government employee they are siding for one canidate and only looking for people against their canidate is SCARY!!!

Sick of the ‘bubba’ vote rhetoric

I am really sick of the recent stories about how Obama is not getting the ‘bubba’ vote which is referrs to rural whites and then tries to make the connection that it is based on race. There are two points that I would like to make on this matter. One, sure there are going to be a few people that will not vote for Obama because of his race, but you know what there are MANY MANY more that will vote for him because of his race. But somehow only the ones that don’t vote for him because of his race are racists but somehow by voting for him, it is because you are proud of your race.

And now for the second point, with no regards to race you can describe Obama as a professional big city lawyer and politician. You know what, people from rural areas don’t like or trust people who make their living as a lawyer and/or politician and especially if they are from a large metro area.

I am really getting sick of hearing the people calling Palin just a hockey mom. Sure that is one of her duties that she has fulfilled but it got me to thinking that if she is just a hockey mom, then Obama must be just a ’soccer dad’. His daughter, Maila, plays soccer or maybe he is JUST a tennis dad since both daughters play tennis.

So I think in all fairness, we should start referring to ole Mr Obama as just a soccer dad. Can’t wait to hear Olbermann ask if Obama gained his foreign policy experience from watching soccer since soccer is the world sport.

Obama = substitute teacher

McCain is like the 20 year old English teacher who in high school made you do your homework and graded hard which all the students disliked. While Obama is like the substitute teacher who comes in and jokes with the kids and gives crossword puzzles as homework. While at the time Obama was the teacher that every student wanted, looking back we all know that the vetern teacher (McCain) was the one who did us the most good.
